The RX3 Tornado Rack is an integrated tornado pivot arm functional trainer and half rack into the smallest
freestanding footprint possible. It comes with our patent-pending Tornado Pivot Arms which offers the ability to
target every muscle group more effectively. The Tornado Pivot Arms have 4-way adjustability so you can position them
outwards for a better stretch during chest flys, inwards towards the middle so the weight is directly beneath you
for shoulder shrugs, or directly above you for lat pulldowns. A pair of RX3 J-Cups are included which allow the
front uprights to be used as a half rack with your barbell. The RX3 Tornado Smith Machine Rack is made with 3"x3"
uprights, 11-gauge steel, and 1" holes with 2" spacing and also offers the ability to add storage shelves and plate
sleeves on the back uprights.

DURABLE COATINGS AND HARDWARE
Our 1" hardware is coated with black e-coat which is more resistant to corrosion, more durable, and looks
very sleek because who doesn't love black hardware? All attachments and hardware utilize 1" pins at 2"
spacing to create a fully modular and extremely versatile rack.
EFFICIENT ACCESSORY MOUNTING
Laser-cut numbering for each of our offset 1" holes with 2" spacing on uprights, cross bars, and
accessories such as spotter arms, provides convenience.
Attachment Design
All RX3 attachments are made with a rounded chrome pin making insertion into the uprights easy and
frictionless. The rounded chrome pin as well as the uprights will maintain their new appearance, even
after years of repeatedly inserting and removing attachments. Other companies use a powder-coated pin
that scratches and chips away on both the pin itself as well as the coating on the upright. Further, the
inside of all RX3 attachments are lined with protective padding made from durable materials to prevent
metal-to-metal contact.
HIGH-QUALITY FINISHES & DETAILS
Chrome uprights where trolleys are used means less wear and scratches to your upright as you adjust the
position of the trolley up and down. Our plate sleeves are also chrome with a rubber stopper which
eliminates the potential of scratches and chips seen on cheaper, powder-coated plate sleeves. RX3
Sandwich J-Cups feature stainless steel logo plates with an oversized racking area, making it easier for
lifters to re-rack their barbell into the intended racking area. All components and attachments were
designed in more detail.
Exceptional Construction
Logos are bolted on with stainless steel nameplates on 95% of attachments, while a few are laser-cut. No
stickers are used in any of our RX3 designs. Take a look at our Stainless Steel Logo Plate — we've gone
the extra mile by laser-cutting triangular designs into the nameplate, further enhancing its standout
appearance that is representative of the pinnacle of quality seen on the RX3 Series.
In-House Precision Manufacturing
We've upgraded our manufacturing and the first thing we wanted to offer is the RX3 line. 6-Axis Laser
cutting, CNC Lathe, robotic welding, friction welding, hydraulic servo bending, shot blasting, and
powder coating all in the same facility for a consistent and high-quality product. We've even brought in
a hardware packing machine to blister pack all hardware in-house.
Continuing Innovation
We didn't stop at designing just high quality standard attachments like j-cups and spotter arms; our
cable trolley systems are the best in the market. Our RX3 3000 Cable Tower series features dual pulleys
on a single column to allow 2:1 or 1:1 weight ratios and our patent-pending Tornado Pivot Arms allow
even more functional training capabilities in one unit. Both cable machines also include 2x black,
aluminum anodized, knurled handles that are the best standard handles we've seen in the industry. Our

Who is this unit for?
The RX3 Tornado Rack is for those that want the smallest freestanding footprint for an integrated tornado pivot

rack was designed to give you the most effective training methods. The RX3 Tornado Pivot Arms offer greater
versatility and more effective muscle targeting since you can position the handles exactly where you need them.
Position outwards at up to 81" apart for greater stretch for chest flys, or angle them inward at shoulder width
for deadlifts and shrugs with the weight directly beneath you. Exercises and effectiveness previously impossible
with fixed trolleys are now accessible with our Tornado Pivot Arms. Two front posts with included j-cups allow
you to rack your barbell for benching and squatting if you do want to train those stabilizer muscles with more
freedom of movement.
What is the benefit of Tornado Pivot Arms over other designs?
You can position them anywhere. Directly above you for lat pulls, directly below you for deadlift, outwards for
greater stretch during chest flys, or close together to join them in order to utilize the weight from
both sides.
The position of the Tornado Pivot Arms allows you to more effectively train your targeted muscle group and you
are no longer limited by a fixed trolley on a vertical upright.

This unit is 3" x 3" with 1" holes and 2" spacing, so there's are a wide variety of attachments from us and

using the following attachments: Spotter Arms and our
Tornado Arm Connector.
For storage options built into the rack, we recommend:
- Up to 8x plate sleeves with 4x Shelf and Plate Sleeve Extension
(set)
- Up to 4 total shelves consisting of either 42" ball and plate shelf with
extension or 42" kettlebell and dumbbell
shelf with extension.

Do I need to bolt this into the ground?
The RX3 Tornado Rack does not need to be bolted into the ground, but we always recommend doing so for additional
safety and liability.
