RX3 Tornado Pivot Arms mount to RX3 uprights using a 1" aluminum pop pin. It's 4-way adjustability means you can now position your cable system handles anywhere so that you can more effectively target every muscle group.
The patent-pending RX3 Tornado Pivot Arms offers the ability to more effectively target every muscle group. Its 4-way adjustability means you can now position them out and away from center for a better stretch during chest flys, inwards towards the middle so the weight is directly beneath you for shoulder shrugs, or directly above you for lat pulldowns. It features 180 degree adjustability horizontally, 90 degree adjustability vertically through 7 x 7 angle positions for a total of 49 different positions, and a 360 degree swivel for the cable outlet. All in all, the Tornado Pivot Arms will provide the cable handle to be positioned anywhere you need it.
Following the design ethos of all RX3 series attachments, this Tornado Pivot Arm Attachment features high-quality materials inside the clasp to smoothly slide along the upright while also preventing any metal to metal contact as it glides up and down the upright. We've also included aluminum pop pins for every adjustment angle, aluminum pulleys, a stainless steel knurled handle, and stainless steel logo and adjustment plates to prevent any metal to powdercoat contact, which will ensure your Tornado Pivot Arms look new even after many many uses.

FAQ
I have another brand's rack and want to fit these tornado pivot arms onto XYZ brand, will it be compatible?
- We are unable to say for certain if this will fit with another brand's rack. It's designed to work with our RX3 uprights which are 75x75mm and uses 1" holes (26mm). We've also seen customers install it onto an imperial 3"x3" upright as seen in This Youtube Short (click here). The cable head where cable attachments connect with a carabiner likely wouldn't be an issue, but the cable tail that secures to the backside of the tornado pivot arm trolleys is different for each brand. Please note that the cable tail that connects to the back of our tornado arm trolleys are at the side of the upright (not directly behind the upright).
Do you guys provide custom cable lengths?
- We are unable to provide custom cable lengths with purchase of our tornado pivot arms. While we can do this for those who purchase our Tornado Rack Sets, we are unable to offer this for different rack brands because there's too many variables and possible pulley positions which makes it not economical for us to offer custom cable lengths for another brand's rack. You'll need to find a way to customize the cable length you need for your specific configuration and rack brand, OR we have seen people use 4-5 additional carabiners at the back of the trolley so that the other end of the cable can reach to the end of the tornado pivot arm. Adding 4-5 additional carabiners to the back of the trolley is likely the easiest DIY solution.
- We offer the following cables for our RX3 Tornado Racks:
set of cables for our 26" crossbar
set of cables for our 42" crossbar
set of cables for our 42" + 17" Crossbars
set of cables for our 42" + 26" Crossbars.
How does the cable feed into the Tornado Pivot Arms?
- The head of the cable feeds from above, routed in the middle of the upright and to the end of the tornado pivot arm where you'd attach your carabiner and cable handle attachments. The tail of the cable feeds from below, routed from the outside of the rack to the bottom/outside of the Tornado Arm Trolley. This was designed so that the lower portion of the cable is out of the way of additional accessories, such as if you're placing spotter arms or a lat pull seat underneath the tornado arms.
How heavy are the Tornado Arms?
- The RX3 Tornado Pivot Arms weigh 27LBs each, they're overbuilt to handle anything you can lift. We opted for a heavy-duty design on the trolleys without rollers to offer the most bomb-proof design. We wanted the least amount of moving parts possible.
