The patent-pending RX3 Tornado Pivot Arms offers the ability to more effectively target every muscle group. Its 4-way adjustability means you can now position them out and away from center for a better stretch during chest flys, inwards towards the middle so the weight is directly beneath you for shoulder shrugs, or directly above you for lat pulldowns. It features 180 degree adjustability horizontally, 90 degree adjustability vertically through 7 x 7 angle positions for a total of 49 different positions, and a 360 degree swivel for the cable outlet. All in all, the Tornado Pivot Arms will provide the cable handle to be positioned anywhere you need it.
Following the design ethos of all RX3 series attachments, this Tornado Pivot Arm Attachment features high-quality materials inside the clasp to smoothly slide along the upright while also preventing any metal to metal as it glides up and down the upright. We've also included aluminum pop pins for every adjustment angle, aluminum pulleys, a stainless steel knurled handle, and stainless steel logo and adjustment plates to prevent any metal to powdercoat contact, which will ensure your Tornado Pivot Arms look new even after many many uses.
FAQ
I have another brand's rack and want to fit these tornado pivot arms onto XYZ brand, will it be compatible?
- Unfortunately, we are unable to say for certain if this will fit with another brand's rack. It's designed to work with our RX3 uprights which are 92" tall, 75x75mm, and uses 1" holes (26mm). We've included detailed measurements in the image slider to show you the exact placement on our racks for this set. If your rack and crossbars are at similar positions, then we don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit with your existing rack.
Will you sell the Tornado Pivot Arms by themselves?
- We originally wanted to sell the Tornado Pivot Arms by themselves, but after speaking with numerous interested parties, we've decided to only sell the Tornado Pivot Arm Set which includes the proper cables, weight stacks, pulleys, and pulley frames. There were too many questions surrounding cable lengths, cable position to front of trolley, cable position to back of trolley, placement on the crossbars, etc. We've decided this set is the best way to ensure it works with your existing rack.
What Cable lengths am I choosing?
- set of cables for our 26" crossbar and set of cables for our 42" crossbar and set of cables for our 42" + 17" Crossbars, set of cables for our 42" + 26" Crossbars. Have a look at the drawings in the image scroller to determine which cable you should purchase.
What is the "Upgrade to Tornado Trolley 2.0s" option?
Tornado Trolley 2.0 is our newest and most refined trolley design. It features 4 built-in rollers per Tornado Arm, a redesigned, tighter-tolerance housing for smoother travel along the uprights, and an updated grooved front roller that improves cable tracking during movement. This grooved roller helps keep the cable aligned more consistently, reducing friction and delivering a smoother, more controlled feel throughout the range of motion.
The trolley also includes a protection bracket that prevents the rollers from making contact with rack bolts or crossmembers during adjustments. Selecting the “Upgrade to Tornado Trolley 2.0s” replaces the original trolley with this upgraded 2.0 version.
It’s the best choice if you want the smoothest glide, easiest adjustments, and most premium movement experience available on the Tornado Arms.
What is the « Upgrade to Tornado X Arms » option?
Tornado X Arms are our most versatile Tornado Arm configuration, featuring both 2:1 and 1:1 weight ratios in a single system. Use 2:1 mode for smoother cable movement, longer cable travel, and 5 lb weight increments, or switch to 1:1 mode to unlock the full weight stack for exercises like lat pulldowns, low rows, belt squats, and other heavy pulling movements.
The Tornado X upgrade also features an updated arm design with improved cable tracking and enhanced cable smoothness throughout the range of motion.
Tornado X Arms are compatible with both the original Tornado trolley and Tornado Trolley 2.0, allowing you to choose the configuration that best fits your training style and preferences. The Tornado X upgrade is independent of the Trolley 2.0 upgrade. You may choose either option individually or combine both for the most feature-rich Tornado Arm setup.

If you order Tornado Arms with the Tornado X upgrade, the standard Tornado Arms will ship according to our normal shipping timeline. The Tornado X retrofit kit will then ship separately once available, allowing you to begin using your Tornado Arms immediately and upgrade them to Tornado X later.
Please note: Tornado X Arms require two cables that are each 155mm (6.1") longer than the cables used for Original Tornado Arms or Tornado Trolley 2.0.
Customers installing Tornado X Arms on an existing setup will need to obtain the appropriate cable lengths for their rack configuration.
