Chrome uprights - Engineered for contact
Our RX3 uprights are built from superior precision-formed steel and finished in chrome, not standard powder coat.
Why chrome?

The difference starts before the finish is applied.
We use higher-grade steel that requires additional preparation and processing to retain a smooth, even surface. Unlike powder-coated uprights, which are sandblasted and then sprayed (creating a slightly textured feel), our chrome uprights go through extra steps to preserve surface consistency before entering the chrome bath.
Why does that matter?
Because a smoother surface is naturally more resistant to scratching and wear. In real training, your barbell will touch the uprights. Your J-cups will make contact. Attachments slide in and out repeatedly. Chrome is harder and more wear-resistant than powder coat, and combined with a smoother base surface, it better withstands long-term impact.
The chrome bath also coats the entire upright, including the inside of the tube, adding another layer of corrosion resistance beyond exterior-only finishes.

We use black e-coat hardware for improved corrosion resistance and long-term durability.

Our 26mm (metric 1") hardware is coated with black e-coat which is more resistant to corrosion, more
durable, and looks very sleek because who doesn't love black hardware?
All attachments and hardware utilize 26mm (metric 1") pins with 50mm (metric 2") spacing to create a
fully modular and extremely versatile rack.
EFFICIENT ACCESSORY MOUNTING
Laser-cut numbering is added to each offset 26mm (metric 1") hole with 50mm (metric 2") spacing across
the uprights, cross bars, and accessories such as spotter arms, provides convenience.
ATTACHMENT DESIGN
All RX3 attachments are made with a rounded chrome pin making insertion into the uprights easy and
frictionless. The rounded chrome pin as well as the uprights will maintain their new appearance, even
after years of repeatedly inserting and removing attachments. Other companies use a powder-coated pin
that scratches and chips away on both the pin itself as well as the coating on the upright. Further, the
inside of all RX3 attachments are lined with protective padding made from durable materials to prevent
metal-to-metal contact.

Every RX3 Power Rack is finished with the same attention to detail found across the RX3 Series. From
clean welds and precision laser-cut components to durable powder-coat finishes, each element is designed
to look sharp and hold up under heavy use. RX3 Sandwich J-Cups feature stainless steel logo plates and
an oversized racking surface, making re-racking safer and more forgiving under load. All RX3 components

EXCEPTIONAL CONSTRUCTION
Logos are bolted on with stainless steel nameplates on 95% of attachments, while a few are laser-cut. No

IN-HOUSE PRECISION MANUFACTURING

cutting, CNC Lathe, robotic welding, friction welding, hydraulic servo bending, shot blasting, and
powder coating all in the same facility for a consistent and high-quality product. We've even brought in
a hardware packing machine to blister pack all hardware in-house.
